"20 hz" has been written on a very early morning in Barcelona, when I lived there some years ago. I had been out all night, it was around seven in the morning and I passed a subway station. All these people came up, going to work. It's such a weird thing, coming from this very unreal place, just kicked out in reality. You could feel the ground shaking, because the train was leaving, but there was no sound. "20 hz" is the lowest limit of human hearing, below that you can't hear anything, but you can feel it. I was just thinking: That's what 20hz feel like. Then I sat down at some café, had breakfast and wrote down the lyrics.
